Christine Reilley

Christine Reilley is the Managing Director of Publishing at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), headquartered in New York City. In this role, she oversees ASME’s publishing portfolio and champions initiatives that advance knowledge-sharing across the global engineering community.

Christine’s career at ASME spans diverse leadership positions. She previously headed the Strategy and Innovation team, driving enterprise-wide strategic planning, and led the Healthcare Technology unit, where she built programs and products that expanded ASME’s footprint in medical and health-related technologies. Earlier, as Program Manager in Emerging Technologies, she developed content in cutting-edge fields such as bioengineering, nanotechnology, thermofluids, and advanced materials. Her journey at ASME began in Codes and Standards Publishing, where she managed the production of essential engineering codes.

Christine holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). She earned her BA in Journalism and Mass Media, with a minor in Biological Sciences, from Rutgers University’s Douglass College.
