STM Societal Impact Day | Share your success story for a chance to present at an STM event

Calling all STM Publishers and Industry Associations

Are you making an impact?

Today’s researchers recognise the importance of science and research in addressing the critical challenges facing our society. However, despite this awareness, progress on issues such as climate change and equality remains slow, even as the urgency increases. Academic publishers have a pivotal role to play in fostering social responsibility within their own organisations and advocating for sustainability, thereby enhancing the connection between research and society.

In 23 April 2024, STM will host a Societal Impact Day in Washington DC — a satellite event happening the day before the STM US Annual Conferenceexploring research's societal impact and the role of academic publishing in shaping a sustainable future. We know STM members and industry associations are already doing great work in this area and would love to hear about it!
