STM Innovator Fair 2025

STM Innovator Fair | 9th December 2025
Building Tomorrow’s Research Integrity Framework

Join us as we kick off the first day of the STM Innovation & Integrity Days with our annual Innovator Fair. Here, you meet the industry’s top innovators and trailblazers as they present their latest breakthroughs: the technologies and concepts transforming how we advance trusted research. This inspired event is a strong way to wrap up 2025, and to seed ideas for a bold new year ahead.

This year, innovations will showcase the foundational technologies and methodologies being developed through cross-sector collaboration. This reflects off our theme — Building Tomorrow’s Research Integrity Framework — where we move beyond addressing today’s immediate challenges to architect the systems that will protect scholarly communication for years to come.

Please note the change of venue: we’re convening at the BMA House in London. See what’s in store and register to join us!

From Pitch to Partnership: How Stakeholders Evaluate Startups

Moderated by: Martijn Roelandse, Consultant, Park 56

Startups bring bold ideas and fresh energy into scholarly communication — but what does it really take to move from a promising pitch to a meaningful partnership or investment? In this session, we bring together voices from across the ecosystem — investors, corporate partners, and funders — to share how they assess startups. What do they look for in the numbers, the team, and the story? How do they decide when to partner, invest, or acquire? And what strategies can help startups position themselves for long-term success?

Through short insights and a dynamic panel discussion, participants will gain a clearer view of the criteria and perspectives that shape startup journeys in scholarly communication.

Milan Wielinga, Managing Partner, Park 56
Jignesh Bhate, CEO, Molecular Connections
Ben Kaube, Co-founder Cassyni, founding investor of Scholarly Angels
