ISTIC seeks feedback on evaluation system
Following the announcement that the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC) would build up a World Science Citation Database, On 30 April, ISTIC sent a ‘Notice on Soliciting Opinions’ (draft for comments) on this new evaluation system. STM and rightsholder community discourages TDM exception interventions in APAC region
An international coalition of rightsholders sent letters to relevant policy-makers in Thailand and South Korea to counter the TDM exceptions proposed in these countries.
