Carbon Emissions Methodology Task & Finish Group

To take action on climate, all sectors must rapidly decarbonize, this includes academic publishing. Many national associations have already established programs to address environmental concerns across all sectors of industry (trade, education and academic) and in some cases across national supply chains (mainly focused on trade/retail).

This task and finish group will focus on defining the scope and methodology of carbon emissions on a academic journal and book level. Aligning the way, STM members self-report on carbon emissions and laying the foundations for future standards, labelling and communications.
