Sumila Wong
Sumila Wong started out in the service industry, working with Singapore Airlines for 7 years from 1984 to 1994. She left them to start a family and then re-joined the workforce in 1996, she managed a restaurant until 1999 to move into an entirely different industry – IT. From 1999 to 2003 Sumila was with National Computer Systems (NCS) where she worked on various customer accounts, providing data management and IT services and solutions to the government sector. From 2003 to 2007, she was with Fujitsu PC Singapore, and managed the contractual agreement with appointed authorized service providers throughout Asia Pacific. Sumila was headhunted in 2007 to join Blackwell Publishing Services Singapore (BPSS) and had the responsibility for the scale up of activities from around 20 to above 130 now.
