Simon Knowles

Simon established and now leads the UCL Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Initiative, which seeks to maximise the impact of UCL’s activity on the SDGs, from its teaching and research to its students’ extra-curricular endeavours and the way the university operates.

Previously, he headed marketing and communications teams for several organisation, including charities and the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA). The ODA was responsible for the construction of the venues and infrastructure for the London 2012 Games.

He has a BA in Geography from UCL.
