Shara Kabak

Dr. Shara Kabak, since 2017, works as the Research Misconduct Officer at the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

In this role, Shara is responsible for developing policies for and overseeing the handling of research misconduct allegations by VA research facilities.

Previously, Shara served in the US Office of Research Integrity (ORI) for six years.  She was responsible for reviewing research misconduct inquiries and investigations conducted by extramural institutions receiving Public Health Service funding.
