Sara Kate Heukerott

Sara Kate Heukerott is the Associate Director of Publications at the Association for Computing Machinery, where she oversees ACM’s journal program. She also plays a key role in ACM’s research integrity, publications policy, and strategy initiatives.

Prior to joining ACM, Sara Kate worked for many years at Springer Nature, most recently as Executive Editor responsible for the Springer Materials Science and Applied Physics journals team.

Sara Kate received her A.B. summa cum laude from Harvard and her two-year M.Phil. with distinction from the University of Oxford. She is a member of the Research4Life Equity Committee and the Society for Scholarly Publishing Membership Committee.
