Matthew Hayes

Matthew Hayes is Commercial Director for colwiz, a digital research services startup specialising in big data and AI. Acquired by the academic publisher Taylor & Francis in 2017, colwiz is launching a next-gen research intelligence tool in 2018 called wizdom.ai. Matthew is responsible for wizdom’s commercial launch, growth and development, bringing wizdom.ai to a global audience.

Matthew previously led the MENA division of Macmillan Education, a part of the Springer Nature group, before joining a tech startup as their MD of Education. He holds a BA in History from the University of Oxford and an MA in International Relations from SOAS. He is a doctoral researcher in global citizenship at the Institute of Education in London.
