Matt Day
Matthew Day is Head of Open and Data Publishing at Cambridge University Press, coordinating and developing the various Open Access activities of the Press. He has 20 years experience in the publishing industry, having held editorial and managerial roles at Garland Publishing, BioMed Central, Nature Publishing Group, plus a couple of years at the technology company Wolfram Research. As well as having keen interests in Open Access publishing for both books and journals, Matt has long standing interests in role of publishers in disseminating and preserving academic research data and the role of computers in processing knowledge.
