Li Lingxi

Li Lingxi, Managing Director of Princeton University Press (PUP) in China, is committed to promoting academic dialogue and cross-cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world. In 2015, she led the establishment of the PUP China Office to actively respond to China’s growing international influence in higher education and academic research. She has led her team to strengthen exchanges with Chinese and Asian scholars, to discover and publish the best Chinese scholarship and promote their global influence. At the same time, she has also developed the English academic book retail market in China by combining domestic book market trends and the influence of social media.

Since 2017, she has represented PUP to expand strategic cooperation with Chinese academia, government agencies and business partners, leveraging PUP authors and books as a bridge to promote cultural exchanges and understanding between China and the West. In 2024, she jointly launched the “Princeton-Wenyan China Lecture Series” with the Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences of Peking University.
