Jacob Molyneux
Jacob Molyneux is senior editor and social media strategist at the American Journal of Nursing (AJN), published by Wolters Kluwer’s Lippincott Williams & Wilkins publishing portfolio. In this role, Molyneux developed and edits AJN’s blog, Off the Charts, which received the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) gold award for best blog in 2014. He has been instrumental inbuilding AJN’s Twitter account (@AmJNurs; over 30,000 followers) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/AJNfans; over 131,000 ‘fans,’ with hundreds of comments and thousands of shares each week). AJN also received a gold ASHPE award for best use of social media in 2014.
Prior to his work at Wolters Kluwer, Jacob worked as an associate director for content development at the College Board and held a lectureship in creative writing at Stanford University. In addition to writing about health care policy and social media topics for AJN, he has published short stories in Epoch magazine and the Writer’s Harvest anthology (edited by Tobias Wolff) and book reviews in the San Francisco Chronicle and the Village Voice. He holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
