Hua He

Hua He, M.D., Mphil

Dr. He received her medical training in Xiangya Medical School, Central South University, Changsha, Hunan Province, China. She worked as a resident in the Department of Geriatrics, Southwest Hospital, The Third Military Medical University, Chongqing, China.

In 2002, she went to Hong Kong and completed her M.Phil thesis research in gastric and colonic cancers at the University of Hong Kong. She continued her research in gastrointestinal cancers in the Department of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong Afterwards. Dr. He has published 16 English papers in peer-reviewed international biomedical research and science editing journals.

In 2006, she joined the Editorial Office of Chinese Journal of Cancer (the title was changed to Cancer Communications in 2018) and worked as a Science Editor for 3 years. Starting from 2009, she has been the CEO of Medjaden Bioscience, a member of COPE. She has been the CEO of Xia & He Publishing Inc. since 2011, which publishes 10 English biomedicine journals.
