Cynthia Hudson Vitale

Cynthia Hudson Vitale serves as the Director of Science Policy and Scholarship at the Association of Research Libraries.

In this role, she advances the Association’s mission of enduring and equitable access to information through strategic partnerships and advocacy initiatives. Analyzing the global landscape of science and scholarship, she works with research, higher education, information technology, and government agencies on institutional and public policy issues that arise from new and emerging practices in research, teaching, and learning.

Before joining ARL, Cynthia worked in research libraries building and leading computational research services.
