Arnold Pippel

Senior Vice President Customer Experience & Innovation, Elsevier. Mr. Pippel currently leads a team of experts (>250 people) in 10 key strategic and operational areas in Elsevier’s journal division to improve its ability to serve the scientific communities with deep insights, continual learning, creative innovation, and connected and empowered experts.

He has been responsible for strategy, innovation and development in various business functions with RELX since 2002, including Senior Publisher for data solutions at RBI (now part of LexisNexis Risk Solutions), Director of Strategy and New Business RBI Global, and Vice President of Strategy, STM Journals, Elsevier. Mr. Pippel studied Philosophy, Dutch Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam.
