Amy Joint

Amy is Content Acquisition Manager for F1000, overseeing commissioning across the breadth of Life and Medical Sciences. Prior to joining F1000 in 2021, she managed a portfolio of Open Access and Hybrid neuroscience journals at Springer Nature, and previously at Wiley in their Editorial Office department.

Her background is in Zoology, having completed a BSc at the University of Bristol in 2015. She has recently joined STM’s Early Careers Publishing Committee, and is passionate about anything involving open research, diversity, and introducing students and recent graduates to career pathways within the industry. Outside of publishing, Amy is a slightly reluctant runner and very occasional stage manager.
