Alex Brown

As the first member of Springer’s corporate communications team in the Americas, Alex Brown works to support various businesses through a mix of public relations, strategic messaging and internal communications. Prior to Springer Alex worked at New York Blood Center, home to more than 20 research laboratories and the National Cord Blood Program.  There Alex helped lead a team responsible for community relations, public affairs and fundraising. In both roles his ability to tell stories and create dynamic, engaging content has been critical. Outside of Springer Alex helps teach graduate students at Columbia University to deliver their own strategic messages through the mix of careful audience analysis, storytelling and presentation skills. Alex holds a B.B.A. from The George Washington University and an M.S.  in Strategic Communications from Columbia University, and in his free time you can find him on the ice playing hockey, or exploring NYC.
