Publisher – Partner Publishing

We are looking for a Publisher to join our Partner Publishing team in the UK. If you are passionate about science and looking for an inspiring role where you can enable high-quality publishing for leading scientific organisations, then look no further!

This is a unique role which combines partner publishing and content development. As Publisher, you will manage a portfolio of journals published by IOPP on behalf of society partners. You will develop and implement journal success strategies and delivering associated KPIs. You will be the key contact for our partners and together with colleagues across the company will work to ensure that we provide a strong, strategic partnership and that our fantastic services continue to benefit the global scientific community. You will lead on journals commissioning plans through desk-based and in-person interactions with researchers in the field.

About you:

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

  • STM journals publishing experience is essential
  • Excellent understanding of how the publishing industry is evolving
  • Strong understanding of publishing business models and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative approach and strong ability to influence
  • Stakeholder management experience
