STM’s Enforcement Task Force (ETF) has quietly played a vital role in protecting the rights that underpin our industry. Since 2007, it has worked to identify and respond to emerging risks — from new forms of piracy to complex copyright cases — through both legal action and negotiation.
Many STM members may not be aware of the ETF’s behind-the-scenes work: Many STM members may not be aware of the ETF’s behind-the-scenes work: identifying and analyzing piracy risks, helping shape a level playing field for content delivery, improving compliance across the ecosystem, and building credibility with lawmakers and enforcement partners.

Where an event has registration fees, cancellations made in writing up to 30 days before an event are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after 30 days prior to the event date, however, substitutions may be made free of charge at any time.
Registration fees do not include insurance. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects.
