STM Town Hall meeting session 1:

Town Hall | December

Calling Members!

Join us for our the December STM Town Hall on Dec 14

All STM members are welcome; we’d love to see both leaders and doers alike from across our global network. This free, members-only forum brings us together to discuss timely issues, hear the latest from STM’s CEO, Caroline Sutton, and offers room to freely ask questions and exchange ideas.

The December Town Hall will cover:

  • Z-library takedown and arrests: Why does it matter, and what should publishers and other stakeholders understand about this type of piracy? Pascal Hetzscholdt from Wiley will join us to offer his expertise.

  • One Nation One Subscription in India: What does this policy involve, what might it mean for your publishing house and what is the timeline?

  • STM Open Access position: The STM Board has agreed on an overarching STM position on Open Access. STM CEO Dr Caroline Sutton will provide a briefing.

To accommodate members from other time zones, we’re running two sessions — the other is happening at 10am EST / 15:00 GMT / 16:00 CET if that suits you better.
