Max Gabriel

Max Gabriel joined Taylor & Francis Group as Chief Digital Officer in 2015. In this role, he is responsible
for technology strategy, delivery and operations for the group.

Prior to joining Taylor & Francis, Max was CTO of Pearson India and Africa where he was responsible
for digital transformation of these markets and successfully launched Pearson’s first tablet based
learning product in India.

Before joining Pearson, in his 20 years of progressive career, Max held senior technology leadership
roles at Global Industry leaders such as Diageo, Pfizer, and JP Morgan Chase. During his multi industry
career, he worked in multiple regions and has great appreciation for multi-cultural diversity.

During his time at Diageo, Max led the Global Marketing Automation program to deliver a cross brand
consumer engagement platform. At Pfizer, as Chief Enterprise Architect, he led the strategy and
architecture for a sales transformation program to implement a multi-channel customer centric sales
model in North America.

Max started his career as a programmer in financial services industry after completing his B.S
computer science from M.S University, India. Max actively mentors and advises several tech start-ups
in the media and education domain.
