Paul Gee

Paul Gee is an accomplished digital strategist with over two decades of experience leading product innovation in scholarly publishing and medical education. He currently serves as Vice President of Digital Product Management and Development at the American Medical Association, where he leads a team supporting the JAMA Network and the AMA Ed Hub.
Known for building high-performing, matrixed teams, Paul has overseen the end-to-end development of scalable digital solutions that have significantly increased engagement, registration, and revenue. Under his leadership, the AMA’s publishing division has expanded its digital reach, adopted emerging technologies and customer data strategies, and launched platforms that serve both physicians and educators.
Paul’s career began at the American Association for Cancer Research, where he managed the peer review process for Cancer Research. He then spent nearly a decade at Wolters Kluwer Health, advancing through roles in editorial operations, online product delivery, and publishing. There, he expanded digital channels for medical and nursing publications and earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for leading workflow automation and process improvement initiatives.
A regular speaker at industry conferences on product leadership and digital transformation, Paul brings a blend of technical insight and strategic vision. In addition to his professional work, he is an avid fiction writer and an associate editor at Narrative magazine.
