Ziyad Marar

Ziyad Marar is President of Global Publishing at Sage, leading editorial, marketing production and sales teams across the globe, where he has overall responsibility for Sage’s publishing strategy across journals, textbooks and born digital products. He has spoken and written on this theme in various international contexts and in early 2015 was appointed to the board of the Campaign for Social Sciences (CfSS). In 2020, he was both elected to the Fellowship of Britain’s Academy of Social Sciences, making him just the second publisher to be chosen in the history of the program, and named one of the most influential people in UK publishing by The Bookseller 150 list.
