JOINWitold Kozakiewicz
Witold Kozakiewicz, MSc, is Director of the Information and Library Centre at the Medical University of Lodz and President-elect of the European Association for Health Information and Libraries for the 2027–2028 term. He also serves as Vice-President of the Executive Board of the Conference of Directors of Academic Libraries of Polish Schools and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Lodz Academic Library Network. He graduated from Lodz University of Technology with a degree in Computer Science and completed postgraduate studies in Scientific Information and Librarianship at the University of Lodz.
Mr. Kozakiewicz is the author of publications and a speaker at national and international conferences, where he addresses topics related to innovation in librarianship, the role of libraries in the research process, and the Open Science movement. His main interests include new technologies in libraries, trends in the development of library services, including the role of AI tools, and Open Science. He actively supports the development of libraries and promotes innovation and openness in science.
