Wang Chengshan
Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor at China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Editor-in-Chief of Earth Science Horizons, and Initiator and Founding Chair of the Executive Committee of the Deep-time Digital Earth (DDE) Big Science Program. His research focuses on Cretaceous paleoenvironments and paleoclimates, tectonic uplift and sedimentary responses, and petroliferous basin analysis. He has published over 360 SCI papers with 24,000+ citations and an H-index of 74, and authored 18 monographs and textbooks. He has won over 10 national and provincial/ministerial awards, including the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award and the Top 10 Scientific and Technological Advances in Chinese Universities. His honors include the Ho Leung Ho Lee Award, J.S. Lee Geological Science Prize, National Advanced Worker, and Fellow of the Geological Society of America.
