Jackie Kelley

Jackie Kelley is a Senior Publisher on the Open Access team at Oxford University Press (OUP), where she leads the strategic growth and development of a portfolio of leading STM journals, including JNCI: Journal of the National Cancer Institute, The Oncologist, and PNAS Nexus, published in partnership with editors and academic societies such as the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.

At OUP, Jackie steers initiatives that drive portfolio growth, strengthen publishing operations, expand article transfer networks, and advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) across the publishing ecosystem. She also serves on the planning committee for OUP’s Oxford Journals Executive Summit, a global forum that convenes industry leaders to address emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in scholarly communication.

Prior to joining OUP in 2022, Jackie held a series of publishing roles at Wiley, most recently managing a portfolio of journals in psychology and human behavior. She served on the programming committee for Wiley’s Executive Seminar, helping shape discussions on accessibility and equity in open research, and partnered with employee resource groups to develop training and onboarding programs that enhanced employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
