Today, Dr Lee is the General Manager of World Scientific Publishing, responsible for steering its global business development and publishing programs. With close to 30 years of experience in the publishing industry, he has represented the company on the boards of major professional organizations, including CrossRef and Singapore Book Publishers Association. Dr Lee is also a sought-after speaker at international conferences, where he shares his expertise on the evolving landscape of scientific publishing. In 1996, Dr Lee joined World Scientific Publishing as a Scientific Editor, bringing with him a strong foundation in information technology. Soon after, he spearheaded World Scientific Publishing’s digital transformation, leading a team that developed Singapore’s first Internet bookshop and e-journal hosting platform. Over the years, he has built an exceptional track record in electronic publishing, helping to position the Company as a leader in the STM publishing sector.
