Bob Howard, Executive Vice President of Global Research

I joined SAGE in 2000, working in a number of roles in the Journals Editorial Department.  In 2011, I was promoted to Vice President and head of the Research Pillar Senior Management Group (RPSMG).  Today, I lead SAGE’s Research Pillar as we deliver high-quality research in support of our authors, editors and society partners.  In my past experience, I served as an Editor with the American Pharmaceutical Association and with Aspen Publishers.  I received a BA in Philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

I currently live in Agoura Hills, California, but I grew up in Boston and still follow the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots game-by-game.  I am married with one daughter and my hobbies are mostly spent as a family; swimming, debating movies, and reading.
