JOINBert Seghers
Bert Seghers (°1988), a mathematician by training, coordinates the Flemish Commission for Research Integrity (VCWI) since 2014, the second-advice body for investigations of research misconduct in Dutch-speaking Belgium. In that capacity, he is a member of ENRIO, the European Network of Research Integrity Offices, of which he is President since May 2025.
In the last decade, he was also the secretary of the Young Academy of Belgium (Flanders) and he was involved in the establishment of the Belgian Reproducibility Network.
