PubTech Conference & STM APAC Conference Introduction

What is the PubTech Conference?

Initiated in 2023 by China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNPIEC), the PubTech Conference is an international and regular conference in the publishing industry dedicated to the integration of publishing and technology. The Conference brings together global publishing experts, technology leaders, and innovation practitioners to explore the applications and future prospects of emerging technology throughout the entire publishing workflow. It aims to support the industry in addressing challenges and advancing transformation. To date, three editions of the conference have been successfully held, building broad influence in promoting cross-sector dialogue and driving innovation in the publishing industry.

What is the STM APAC Conference?

The STM APAC Conference was jointly initiated in 2025 by the International Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers (STM) and China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNPIEC). As an international conference on academic publishing specifically designed for the Asia-Pacific region, this Conference takes full advantage of regional dynamic innovation ecosystem. It builds a bridge for academic exchanges between Asia-Pacific and the world, and promotes the integration of regional academic publishing into the global ecosystem, thereby jointly advancing the high-quality development of Asia-Pacific academic publishing.

Publishing Starlight Gathering

As an associated event extending from the PubTech Conference and the STM APAC Conference, Publishing Starlight Gathering is held in the format of an evening reception. Through informal yet substantive dialogue, the event creates an open, inclusive, and intellectually engaging environment for global scholars, publishing professionals and technology experts.
