Prashant Mishra

Prashant Mishra heads BMJ India & South Asia as Managing Director. He has led BMJ in South Asia since 2008 when he was the Country Manager for India. Under his leadership, the sales, marketing, technology and editorial teams have grown over the past 10 years and across two offices – in Noida and Mumbai. He was instrumental in establishing BMJ operations in South Asia and has helped build and shape the nascent business in the region, with strong focus on customer value and BMJ’s integrity and brand values. BMJ’s overall vision for healthcare is “A Healthier World”  and he is passionate about transforming healthcare in South Asia with steadfast commitment to apply our values in everything BMJ does.

He has been engaged in building strategic alliances and broader business relationships to improve the healthcare outcomes in India. Over the past many years, he has led BMJ’s partnerships with government bodies and healthcare organizations in the Indian subcontinent. He is an expert presenter and has featured as a keynote speaker in various events related to healthcare.

He’s on the steering committee of Global Academy of Medical Education (GAME), India and teaches Business Communication as a guest faculty at the Birla Inst of Management & Tech (BIMTECH), Greater Noida, India

He has completed his graduation and post-graduation in the field of microbiology where he was a gold medallist. He has completed his MBA from the very prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow and is now pursuing an Executive Fellowship Program in Management (EFPM) from the same institute with his area of specialisation as “Business Communication”. He is married, has two kids, and lives in Noida, India.
