Molly Zhang

Ms. Zhang Moyi leads Wiley’s business and operations in China and driving its growth in scientific research, education, and the global knowledge exchange, contributing to China’s research and innovation ecosystem. She joined Wiley in January 2020 and held the position of Senior Director of Strategic Partnership and Government Affairs. In this role, she successfully led the development of long-term strategic partnerships with Chinese academic societies, publishing houses, and universities. She also actively engaged in dialogue and collaboration with government stakeholders and academic think tanks on critical policy issues, such as open science and research integrity. Additionally, she led market research efforts and drove new business initiatives in China, laying the groundwork for Wiley’s business innovation and expansion across diverse sectors. Prior to joining Wiley, she served as the Director of Government Affairs at RELX Group, responsible for government affairs and academic relations for Elsevier and Reed Exhibitions. Before transitioning to the academic publishing industry, she worked at the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
