JOINTrevor Lane
Dr. Trevor Lane is a Research Development and Impact Specialist at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in scholarly publishing, editorial practice, and research communication. As a Trustee of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and a former Council Member, he has helped shape international guidance on publication ethics and led educational initiatives promoting responsible research conduct and publishing practices. He was also a co-author of the Good Publication Practice (GPP) Guidelines for Company-Sponsored Biomedical Research: 2022 Update (Annals of Internal Medicine 2022; 175: 1298-1304). His work bridges ethics, communication, and societal impact, supporting editors, researchers, and institutions worldwide in advancing integrity and best practices in scholarly publishing and knowledge exchange.
