China–Australia Academic Publishing Exchange Seminar 19-23 Apr 2026

Last month, the Australian Publishers Association co-hosted the Australia–China Scholarly & Journals Publishing Roundtable in Melbourne, in partnership with the Society of China University Journals (CUJS) and supported by STM. The roundtable brought together colleagues from across Australia and China’s scholarly publishing sectors for a productive morning of discussion on research integrity, translation, the implications of AI, and opportunities for greater collaboration between Australian and Chinese journals.

Speakers included APA CEO Patrizia Di Biase-Dyson and Head of Policy Stuart Glover, APA Director and Convenor of the SJC Peter D’Onghia, President of CUJS (Society of China University Journals) Tieming Zhang, STM Consultant for Asia Pacific Mark Robertson, and Colleen Long from Scilight Press, as well as many other colleagues and delegates.
