Jennifer Regala

Jennifer Regala is the Senior Director, Publishing and Product Development, at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she oversees ACOG’s journals publishing program, product development, consumer books, and the patient education site.

Most recently, Jennifer was the Associate Director, Publishing, at Wolters Kluwer Health, where she oversaw award-winning news magazine publications, including Oncology Times, Emergency Medicine News, The Hearing Journal, Brain & Life, Neurology Today, and the ASA Monitor.

She also served on the senior leadership team and contributed to publisher strategy to grow the relevance and revenue of WKH’s proprietary and society portfolio. Previously, Jennifer was the Director of Publications/Executive Editor at the American Urological Association, where she oversaw their publications program.

Jennifer has worked for over 25 years in scholarly publishing and served until May 2026 as the Treasurer of the Council of Science Editors, is a member of the Annual Meeting Program Committee of the International Society of Medical Technical Editors, and was elected to the Society for Scholarly Publishing’s Board of Directors for a term lasting from 2025 – 2028. Jennifer’s personal motto is: “It’s free to be nice and to comb your hair”.
