JOINZara Manwaring
Zara Manwaring is the Portfolio Manager for the Biochemical Society’s journals (Portland Press). In this role, Zara oversees the content strategy and peer-review workflows, as well as managing relationships with the Editorial Boards. She began her career as a Publishing Assistant as Springer Nature, before moving to a Commissioning Editor role with the Biochemical Society in 2019. She now leads an editorial team responsible for driving content and delivering peer-review. Previously, Zara was responsible for developing and implementing research integrity workflows in order to uphold the integrity of the scholarly record.
