Rachael Gooberman-Hill

Professor Rachael Gooberman-Hill is speaking as Co-chair of the UK Committee on Research Integrity, which is dedicated to strengthening the research system through promotion of rigour, transparency, openness, and other core principles of integrity.
Throughout her research career, Rachael has led interdisciplinary work with a strong focus on health. Her work has included projects on risk communication, privacy, and trust. She has held leadership and roles on research steering and advisory groups, served on boards and committees of scholarly associations, and chaired and contributed to research funding panels.
Having recently completed a seven-year term as Director of a Research Institute at the University of Bristol, Rachael continues to hold a substantive position as Professor of Health and Anthropology at the same institution. Her contributions to the UK Committee on Research Integrity are informed by her extensive research experience and a commitment to evidence-informed approaches.
