Timothy L. Grove
Tim has a BA from University of Colorado (’67) and an AM (’75) and PhD (’76) from Harvard University. Tim has been a faculty member of the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science at MIT since 1979. Tim’s research focuses on understanding the chemical differentiation processes that have led to the formation of the crust and mantle of the Earth and similar processes in other planets, including the Moon, Mars and meteorite parent bodies.
