Jill Emery
Jill Emery is the collection development librarian at Portland State University and has over fifteen years work experience at academic and academic research libraries in North America. She has served as chair of the ALA-Acquisitions, Library Collections, & Technical Services Continuing Resources Committee (previously known as the serials section) and is a past president of the North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG). Jill currently serves as the social media specialist for the Electronic Resources & Libraries, LLC and also serves on the program planning committee for the annual conference. She is also a columnist for The Charleston Advisor and serves on their editorial board. She has written extensively about electronic resource management and her most recent project is entitled: TERMS: techniques for electronic resource management that is crafting best practices for libraries through an open peer-review experiment.
