Email Marketing Executive

Utilising our Salesforce Account engagement platform, and working closely with our marketing teams across the globe, the successful candidate will form a pivotal role in our growing Marketing Operations team., The Email Marketing Executive will take responsibility for the creation and delivery of emails, landing pages, forms and reports. In the longer term, the Email Marketing Executive will have the opportunity to further develop their marketing platform skills as we transition to the implementation of a Customer Data Platform as well as other marketing technology solution

Role Summary

What will you be doing?

Key role accountabilities include:

  • Build & set up landing pages with personalisation and dynamic content to be used for various marketing purposes and enriched forms to capture customer data, using progressive profiling as and when required.

  • Build and set up tactical email campaigns configuring personalisation and dynamic content as and when required.

  • Contribute to determination of campaign success measures / KPIs and ensure/take ownership of implementing associated campaign tracking on all elements (e.g., email, advertising, social media, website, etc.).

  • Manage & undertake ad-hoc requests from end users covering data queries, KPIs, campaign reports 

  • Ensure the resultant deliverables meet the brief, including agreed SLAs and are created error-free and are of a customer-facing quality.

  • Assist with quality control for all aspects of email communications, including links, email and landing page content, subject lines, and appropriate audience segmentation.

  • Migrate campaigns from our legacy platform into SF Account Engagement solution.

Successful applicants should demonstrate some or all of the following: 

  • Educated to degree or equivalent experience/education in marketing/email marketing

  • Some experience working with CRM, Customer and/or Marketing data

  • A good knowledge of HTML and CSS would be a distinct advantage

  • Some experience in building and deploying emails ideally in a Salesforce environment, but not essential

  • An understanding of core email marketing metrics 

  • A willingness to build their skills through the achievement of Salesforce Certifications (supported by IOPP)

  • A high level of accuracy & attention to detail: Advocate the “Right First Time” approach through best practices such as process documentation, “check and balance” procedures, spot checks etc

  • Ability to deliver a high standard of clear communication, ensuring relevant stakeholders are well informed of project status as well as outcomes

  • A committed team player who recognises the benefits of sharing knowledge, experience and expertise to further business objectives 

  • An enthusiastic self-starter who can prioritise the things that make a difference, whilst being focussed on the consistent delivery of quality outcome
