Sue Kesner

Sue Kesner's expertise reflects her more than 15 years of broad industry experience.

Sue is a librarian by training, and began her library career at the University of London and Stanford University Libraries.  Beginning in 1990, she held various library facing roles with SilverPlatter, including Director of Distributor Relations, during which she managed annual U.S. distributor meetings where senior librarians, publishers and distributors discussed industry issues.  Later, Sue took on publisher-focused roles, as Director of Publisher Relations for Infotrieve and now as Director of Rightsholder Experience at the Copyright Clearance Center where she manages relationships with many large STM and Trade publishers.   Having been on the content using and content producing sides of the equation, Sue offers a wide-ranging perspective.

Sue is a past president of the Society for Scholarly Publishing and a long-time member of ALA and SLA.  At SSP she runs the Professional Development Committee and has also chaired the Annual Meeting committee and the Organizational Membership Committee.
