Andrew Tein, Vice President, Global Government Affairs, Wiley

As Wiley’s head of Global Government Affairs, Andrew works with government agencies and research funders to advance public-private partnerships in scientific research, higher education and workforce reskilling. Previously, Andrew was Director at C&M International, a Washington DC consultancy, and served in a range of international economic roles with the White House, U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and U.S. Department of State.

For the past decade, Andrew has worked with funders on Open Access policy development and implementation. He  serves on the Board of Directors for CHOR Inc., a not-for-profit public-private partnership to increase public access to peer-reviewed publications that report on federally funded research.
