Ian King

Ian King is an accomplished membership and marketing professional with over fifteen years in the association and scientific publishing arena.

Ian recently joined the American Psychological Association as the organization’s first ever Executive Director of Membership. He is currently leveraging his expertise in communications, technology and change management to facilitate growth in the APA’s membership.

Prior to joining the APA Ian spent nine years marketing memberships and journals for the American Association for the Advancement of Science and three years with The Scientist.
